So I was on Facebook the other day, and a page known as "the humor train" posted "The Most evil organization known to man."

OF COURSE, many responded "The Catholic Church" "The Roman Catholic Church" "The College of Cardinals" "The Vatican"

Why do they hate us so much?

If someone said that about Islam, people would be FUMING...

I just don't get it.

I think the hatred is satanic in nature.
The hatred for Catholicism goes back a long, long, long way.

The Catholic Church, the truly formed Catholic Church, stands for holiness. And obedience to God. Holiness is the enemy of this world, and most of our American society does not appear to be striving for it today.

There are many God-fearing, God-loving Protestants, too ... but they don't form such a large consolidated group, as do Catholics. Catholicism is an easy, big target to go after. And so, they do ...

Are you sure they were people and not bots?

Media has a lot of responsibility in relation to the public image of the RCC. And their actions are deliberate. They run wild with any story, knowing the RCC won't fight back like other groups would.

But seriously, I mean Christ said it would always be this way this side of the Second Coming. I guess we can rejoice that it's happening as he said cause it just confirms we're on the right side of things.

Maybe some of them hate us so much because their hunger for God is so intense, and when they look to us, they see too much of man in the House of God. "To whom much is given, much is required." Yet God permits all that we see - even these days! - because we too have our Passion awaiting us, as He did. He chose Judas, and we have our Judases. So they are right, and they are wrong.

They are right:

Jhn 6:70 Jesus answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?"
Jhn 6:71 He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was to betray him.

But they are wrong:

There is a spiritual war on. The people who spend so much time decrying the Catholic Church are in fact serving the devil, but they don't realise it.

I'm not at home at the moment so I don't have access to the book I'm referring to, but a few days ago I read a brief excerpt from Bishop Fulton Sheen pointing out the demonic was ignored these days. Satan exists all right, and he's got a vested interest in criticising the Church.

He can lay claim to the souls of most of those who refuse to enter the Catholic Church so he's hardly going to tell the truth, is he?

People aren’t thinking critically anymore, that’s for sure.
