You might want to check your Internet Explorer settings.  Click tools (on the top menu bar), Internet options, select the "Advanced" tab, and then scroll down about halfway to the section titled "Multimedia."  There is an option there called "show pictures."  Make sure that's checked.  If it is then this will be of no help to you.
