Dr Hewlett team taught this class:
MCB 414 -- Science and Theology (3 units)
Description: Exploration of the interface between science and theology to understand the obstacles to their rational integration.

one of the truely interesting classes i've taken. Dr. Hewlett is an accomplished poet as well as a dedicated researcher. Thanks for finding this paper and providing the link.

he mentions:
and from the ideas of the cosmologist William Stoeger
the 2nd of the 3 profs for this class.
the 3rd is Dr Thomas Lindell.

if anyone is a student at the UofArizona i really recommend the class. i will put both of these essays on my short list to quote on the boards. be sure to poke around the 1st essay's directory, the author has written a lot more. thanks again.

Dr Hewlett has another interesting paper at:
http://www.mcb.arizona.edu/Hewlett/mjhpaper.html

i was unable to find any of his poetry, it is very moving.
i see he moved to Taos from Tucson, wise move *grin*
