I, being an ex-SDA do know their doctrines very well. Ellen's explanation of amalgamation of mankind is actually tainted by misinterpretation of the Genesis Creation Record. Many things that she professes are not accepted by today's SDA congregation, by large.
The SDA congregation is one of the most diverse faiths that I've ever studied. I've discussed this in length with some of their professed scholars that offer a variety of perspectives on the Creation story, especially concerning Adam and Eve. I never get the same story twice but they all do know how to place the entire blame for the fall of mankind on Adam, alone. This, they are very well versed albeit they don't have all of the eggs in their basket.
Ellen is correct in a general sense but does miss the mark as she herself didn't see the truth behind it. It's complex so I'll try to be brief.
The amalgamation of man and beast is a reality but not in the literal sense of natural beasts interbreeding with man but rather a spiritual amalgamation by the evolution of spirits. Humans do evolve by DNA change and the spirit within is what gives code to our DNA. We are what we eat, naturally and spiritually. Unfortunately, Ellen isn't here to defend herself.
The bottom line is this: the human race has evolved but not as we've been told, and we were Created by an Intelligent Being (GOD) but not as we are this day.
Both groups, Creationists and Evolutionists are correct in some length and yet they are both wrong in greater length.
We, the human race have been forced into an evolution that turned humankind backward from moving forward into Judgment. Rather we have turned away backward from Judgment [Isa 59:14].
We live in a world where the Holy has been profaned and profanity has been made Holy. This describes an upside-down mindset. The polarity of human mind has been flipped by brainwashing. There is a conspiracy theory that explains this plot to overthrow the human race in a quest for world domination.
The plot is to corrupt the minds of humankind and turn us into present-day "Apes". This phenomenon is clearly depicted in the movie, "Planet of the Apes". The movie is part of the conspiracy as well as nearly or all other TV shows and Movies were designed to brainwash American society.
Our minds are under attack and satan is pushing us forward even deeper into the age of technology. Our advancement in technology is directing us to the point of no return. Our minds are at high risk as we come to the end of time. God designed humans to live in His world without technology as this is destroying His Regenerating Machine, "Earth". Heaven is a world without devices and God is coming to clean it up.
The devil is determined to push us into a level of mental depravity so that we will no longer be able to understand the Truth, thus we become extinct humans.
The present depiction of man evolving from ape is a twist in truth so to flip our minds in believing that we are actually the intelligent race. The truth is that we have evolved into the ape minded "beast" that is depicted in the amalgamation of man and beast.
I have dubbed this phenomenon with the title "American Pi", which is the actual top secret experiment that did work and is still blanketing our world today. The movie "American Pie" is a mockery and a brainwash tool among many.
I chose to call it "American Pi" because it does involve the mathematical "Pi" formula for this experiment. As i said, it's complex. There's too much detail to present in even one thread so I'll leave it here for further discussion.
