Interested Newbie

Hello, I recently joined a Christian church. I previously went to Roman Catholic, completed my sacraments, etc. I really like the message the church gives and I feel closer to God now that I have been going to this Christian church. I am relatively new to it. The question I have is this; I was previously divorced about 7 years ago and have since remarried. What I would like to know is if this is "frowned" upon in the Christian church? I have not told anyone much about me yet in the congregation. I have been going for about two months now. I am just wondering if I will be "looked at" differently? I have searched online and cannot find a definitive answer. If you could answer this or point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time. God Bless.

Divorce addressed in the bible is to be avoided. But how any particular denomination or congregation reacts to it is totally dependent on them. You would have to inquire with the church leadership to know their approach.

Its not a problem for most churches. You can't imagine how many in any church have been divorced and remarried. Even the preachers.

I have seen what it says in the bible. Unfortunately it could not be avoided. I will ask in the church once I feel comfortable. Thank you for responding

Same here bro. Make sure you find a church that teaches truth in love like in John 8:11 She said, “No one, a]">[a]Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.”
