Hey, I'm currently involved with a group of Christian game developers in a team called Corngill Concepts. (Don't be afraid to ask about the name). We are working together over the net to create games that rival the competition. We are current working on games that should be simpler to develop so that we can get our name out there. We are currently working with 3 different engines. The first is the Sphere Engine, used for 2d games (mostly RPGs), which is powered through Javascript. The second is DarkBASIC Pro. We are using it for both 2D and 3D games and currently have a game on the go called GemCutter. Finally, we are also using the Unreal Tournament 2004 engine, making a MOD, in hopes that that will give us more of the needed experience to break into the industry. In the future, we are looking to make the transition to C++ and DirectX.
So basically, we're looking for more members. No matter the age or the skill level...to an extent (We don't want 10 year olds that have never thought about making a game before). Mostly, we are looking for 2D sprite artists as they are hard to come by these days, but we are also interested in programmers, other artists, both 2D and 3D, and even game designers and testers. So, if any of this interests you and you would like more information you can PM or email me. Or of course, you can check out our website at corngillconcepts.com
