  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here is a vision that I can share here. I have visions periodically, they are so vivid that I get startled for a fraction of a second once one starts. Usually they last for a few seconds. I’ve had five in the past four months. Two (which were related) of them I’m not sure I fully understand yet, but I think that the Lord gave me a hint last week of what they mean. Their like status visions, I wouldn’t necessarily call them prophetic, but I don’t think they are bound by time. The Lord knows though, their from Him.

I was up late praying and meditating. I finished and closed my eyes to sleep. I then was immediately looking at the face of a woman from 3ft above and 3ft in front as she knelt by her bed praying. She had blond hair with side bangs that were about the length of her chin. A slightly round face. About 25yrs of age. Mostly I was focused on her eyes as she had her head tilted up, not looking directly at me but to the left of me a little bit. Tears were streaming out of the corners of her eyes. She was deeply praying to the Lord. Her arms were up near shoulder height, elbows and wrists level, and hands clasped together, it was rather peculiar positioning. It was a deeply moving sight.

That weekend I was sitting in church for Sunday service. A woman came and sat about six feet away from me. I didn’t pay much attention, but I noticed that she had short-ish blond hair. When worship started, she was REALLY into it. At the end of worship, as the Pastor led a prayer, the woman put her arms near level with her shoulders, her elbows and wrists were level and hands clasped. Then they told us to say hi to someone before we took our seat, and she turned to me and it was that woman in the vision, same face and eyes and about 25yrs old.

During the service, I prayed for her (without her knowing). Just letting the Holy Spirit lead the prayers, praying blessing, intersession and spiritual protection upon the moment. At the end of the service, she went forward at the alter call.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Wow...sometimes I experience something similar...but I consider it just my over active imagination...and sometimes the Lord places on my heart to pray for perfect strangers either in thought...or that I see on the street.

There is no such thing as an over active imagination, one would think it leads to craziness, but through faith over simple and not so simple things, understanding comes, maybe not in the short run, it may happen later on, even at the end of your road, but all your coincidences will match up to a purpose. Ignorance of having an faithful imagination, well that's just insane:p.

God bless.

Oh I defiantly have imagination, but this is more than that. This is complete clarity of vision, and it’s not something that I can sit and provoke to happen, but comes during prayer or shortly there after. And even I think in those times, it was when I forgot to eat for a time. I don’t fast, heh, I just forget to eat while being so busy with a thought or task. I’m not boasting in anything here though, other than in Christ’s purposes. It’s nice that I can somewhat remain anonymous here, these are things that typically I could never talk of with someone face to face, but very rarely.

But this is such a small thing, I have stories that would make one doubt my own sanity :D
I’ve been broken so many times, something good hast to come of it… though I have much faith (not an easy lesson), I wish I were more faithful. I’m so thankful for grace and mercy, I certainly need that.

I had a similar event happen:

On a plane trip home from a missions trip... I was already sitting down as was most of our team. People were filing onto the plane, and a particular gentlemen walked in and I instantly recognized him as ....someone, though I couldn't remember where from. After about 20 seconds I realized a couple weeks ago I had a dream I witnessed to this gentlemen but he was reluctant. I had never met him before my dream. I instantly began praying. I watched as one of our team members strikes up a conversation. I then knew the purpose: I was to pray for this man while my team member witnesses to this "stranger" and hands him a bible!

Acts 10

Cornelius ... praying continually to God... in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius! Your prayers and your alms went up for a memorial before God. Now send men to Joppa and call for Simon who is surnamed Peter. This one is lodged with one Simon, a tanner, whose house by the sea. He will tell you what you must do."

Cornelius went away, calling two of his servants and a devout soldier of those continually waiting on him, and having explained all things to them, he sent them to Joppa.

And on the morrow, these passing along on the road, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray about the sixth hour.... had vision...

And as Peter was doubting within himself what the vision which he saw might be... the men who had been sent from Cornelius stood on the porch asking about the house of Simon. They inquired if Simon being surnamed Peter is lodged here.

As Peter pondered concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are seeking you. Rising up, go down and go with them, not discriminating, because I have sent them.

...Peter met Cornelius ..."You know how unlawful it is for a man, a Jew, to unite with or to come near to one of another race. Yet God showed to me not to call a man common or unclean."

I have no doubt it was absolutely real...:)

I just wonder about myself sometimes...because I don't always have that kind of clarity.

Practice your gifts, you have at least one. As you covet that gift (to study and reflect), various clarities may become apparent, even to the point where you realize that you have been practicing that gift all along. After all, it's by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit, His work, and so He already works be it in our awareness or not.

hmmm... btw lol I should have entitled the topic "intercessory vision"...^_^

I had an intercession dream in the night, as well, and an angel of God was spreading incense in the room which represented the prayers of the saints being brought before the Throne of God (see Revelation 8).

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Interceding is not the only gift you have but, it is one of the most awesome ones.

We never know the hearts of men (meaning what they really need) only God does that's why the Holy Ghost tells you what to pray for. When spoken the the Angels act upon it because of your faith.

All The Glory Belongs To God!
