The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. I called the flathead county mental health and they told me they just didn't have the funds to help me, they couldn't even get me a dr. or a P. I had to find my own and pay for my own, that ontop of meds Holy Moly its expensive. So I have tried that but they wouldn't even see me.have you tried to go to the county mental health department? you may qualify for free or reduced care... or be refered onto services that will benefit you. important: ask every person you are sent to (or phone) for referrals. the usa has lots of programs, it's just a matter of getting connected.

this college requires that I have insurance, and I have to proove to them that I do have it. I don't think so because hubby and I both work and we own our trailor and a car so I think that totally disqualifies us. I have tried medicade, but when DD was a year old I made 50 dollars too much on one paycheck so they kicked me off. It wasn't even a normal paycheck, it was a fluke one. It was almost christmas and we had 3 waitresses and a host walk off shift so that required me to work extra hours and so because of that one time they booted me. So I don't think so, and then I was only working between 4-6 hours a day with 2 sometimes 3 days off.
