In reference to: THE NEW BIRTH, OR BEING BORN-ANEW.

2 Corinthians 5:17... “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Ephesians 6:15.… “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.”

1 Peter 1:22,23.… “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23: having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.”

1 John 5:1... “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.”

Here, once again, we have unequivocal evidence that Paul and Peter (and John) understood the new birth to be not only the experience of those to whom they were writing, but available to whoever comes to the place of belief in the finished work of Calvary’s Cross.

Of course these declarations contradict completely the idea that Peter and John were not members of the Body-of-Christ/Church, but were of the “apostolic church”.

To hold to such a belief, one must come to the conclusion that there are two species of new birth; one for those who, like Peter and John, were born-again into the apostolic church, and those who, like Paul, were born-again into the “mystery” church.

The Scriptures quoted above show with great clarity that Paul, Peter and John all held the same doctrinal position re the Body of Christ; and no wonder, because the Holy Spirit is the One who instilled that faith in each of them.

Born again refers to the nation Israel who was born a FIRST time and is called in scripture, Gods FIRSTBORN. Its prophetic and having to do with Israels program alone. You dont see Paul talking about anyone being born again. We arent born again, but made into new creations...which is speaking of the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ didnt EXIST in Peters program but is part of the MYSTERY truths that were HID IN GOD, and KEPT SECRET until revealed to Paul in due time.

eph... you must only read the writings of Paul that include the word "mystery"...

Colossians 1:13-15... "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14: in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."

Now to put it in context, here is verse 18... "And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence."

Please show us where "Israel" appears in the above.

Am aware that you think this area of the forums is the private domain of hyper-dispensationalists, and do your utmost to dominate the postings; but I too am a dispensationalist; however, an Acts 2 dispensationalist, and it really is hurtful to the Body of Christ for you (and Dispy) to twist Scripture as you do.

It is my prayer that both of you will recognize your error and repent and quit attacking other members of the Body-of-Christ.

We have merely been warning you nicely...scripture is very clear...its a matter of believing God and either being corrected by us or later being an ASHAMED workman.

What we do is based on LOVE and on wanting you not only saved but to come to a knowledge of the TRUTH...this also is Gods goal for ALL. The word knowledge is "full knowledge"...one cannot have this without acknowledging Pauls words given him by the RISEN Christ. Without those words your bible isnt complete and you cannot HAVE full knowledge, PLUS you are operating in a program God SET ASIDE and warns us NOT to return to.

Better to receive a friendly warning here, by those who tell you because we CARE, than to be chastised by God, loose rewards and be ashamed for NOT rightly dividing the TRUTH He gave to us.
