Inspiration

I get my inspiration to write from many things. Music, well-written books, movies, even watching passing storms from my window. All these have given me inspiration in the past, as have a few other things.

Now I wonder where everyone else gets their inspiration. It's not really important; I just want to know what inspires you to write.

Mostly just simple words. Like, for instance, night. It makes me think of many things, and usually something comes up that interests me, and I want to write about it.

Usually, past experiences and the experiences of others is what inspires me.

I get a lot of inspiration from anything. I was never forced to hide my creativity like many people were. I find new ideas every day, though not all work out for me. So, I guess I have ideas to spare. I've written stories based on songs, stories, etc. It just comes to me.

I get inspiration from everything as well, but where does most of your inspiration come from?

Hmmmm......that's a tough one, I just get pictures of things in my head. It just comes. It's neat cause I can do something a hundred times and something new may pop out of nowhere one day. I dont know, maybe I'm weird.

I oftentimes get one from names. I LOVE names. If there's a name I like that I want to base the character around, the character sort of creates itself, and the story follows after it. It's one of my favorite ways to go.
