  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Woop! My first devotional ever :)

I just came back from a movie called signs today and one part of the film that caught my eye was "MAybe there is no coincidence."

If you've seen the movie, you'll know what i mean but for those who didn't, things in the movie, even the subtle actions like glasses of water placed everywhere were an important part of the whole story right until the end. Maybe there is no coincidence. Maybe everything is supposed to happen as it is.

Interesting thought so i figure to myself, most of us can take things for granted sometimes. I mean, God is in control after all.

So next time we're outside, and suddenly someone drops a peice of paper, think for a second. You can imagine that that peice of paper could be a full story right until the end. Who knows, that peice of paper might have paused you for just that millisecond of us watching it fall to prevent a deadly accident from happening 2 seconds after. God definetely has full control.

Pretty cool i reckon. Sorry my first devotional :)
