The prayer shawl represents covering, prptection and blessing Often at Jewish weddings, The bride and bridegroom stand beneath the tatith, I love how happy Jesus and the soul look in this picture. Jesus is happy to encircle her in His love and of course, she is very happy to recieve it!
When I become fearful because I am looking at my own lack and how far I fall short in reguards to holiness and obedience I stop, take a deep breath and realize where these virtues come from in the first place. I am no longer afraid because I know I am secure in Jesus and He will complete the good work He started on me. I can hear Him whisper within my heart:
"Trust Me. Don't be afraid."
I look at Him with the eyes of faith and respond, "Jesus I trust in you!"
