ive been trying to get a handle on Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.....i know this is interpreted as the inner witness of assurance.......ive heard alot of different teachings on what that is...everything from a burning bosom to an inner conviction........my question is that if someone is doubting their salvation, than can you assume that person does'nt have this inner witness?
