Nice post,

I won't answer your questions per say, but many Muslims are coming to Christ by having visions of Jesus, there are many many testimonies on youtube.

So they can not be fake or false, because Christ is being glorified, and people are being saved, and receiving the Holy Spirit.

So yes I believe God speaks to his people through many various ways, but the evidence of that would be Christ being glorified and drawing his people to Himself.
This is full-blown mysticism and it has pervaded our churches and is killing it. I got into a debate on another site where he said that Christ had shown up personally and started revivals and many were saved. If that be the case. we need to spend our $$$ on anything BUT missions. Christ will save them regardless. That stance you posted is as anti-missions as it gets.

PBA, do not take my last post as being snarky. Many ppl make these Jesus claims. How many pics of Jesus' face in the clouds have we seen? Then there was the Shroud of Turin that claimed to be from Jesus' burial. Oddly, that facial imprint looks like the Jesus that Da Vinci painted and none of us knows what the true Jesus looks like. I do not believe these Muslim fairy tales...

1) Yes I do, it is our intuition
2) I think the Holy Spirit can do that yes
3) I think I experience these things, as far as I'm aware...
4) It feels like a mental nudge... hard to describe. Like someone gently poking your brain (metaphorically speaking) and saying "hey have you thought of this?" It's like a suggestion which you could mistake as your own self but is actually coming from an external source. It takes a while to learn the difference I think.
5) I guess that is a matter of faith.

No worries, everyone has different way of seeing things.

I understand what you mean, if God is going to save them, he will save them and we don't need to do anything.

My stance is with God nothing is impossible and I believe some non believers might truly have visions and come to Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Of course there is a lot of nonsence in many Christian circles, but I believe some Muslims are coming to Christ by dreams and visions.

Again, please do not take this as me being snarky, as I truly like you. It does not matter what we believe more over what the bible proclaims. Many ppl have claimed to see things that just won't hold up to scriptural scrutiny. In Ethiopia there is "The Chapel of the Tablet at the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion" in Axum allegedly houses the original Ark of the Covenant. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church claims to possess the Ark of the Covenant, or Tabot, in Axum. Then there are many different accounts of ppl claiming to have seen Mary, the mother of Jesus. Then the Mormons claim to have a burning in their bosom, too.

I just can not find any scriptural proof that Jesus has, will, or will later, come to ppl in a personal way. I think along the lines of this passage when I read all these wacky accounts...Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.[2 Thessalonians 2:5-12]

Certainly, there is no justification for a person having a dream "from the Lord" giving instructions for a 'new doctrine'. Based on scripture and prior understanding and practice, all theology and doctrine needed for Christianity are contained in the Bible.

On the other hand, I don't see a serious problem with Christians 'having a dream' relating to that person and their issues only; with the proviso the answer/solution/revelation does NOT conflict with Biblical teaching. For instance, a person facing a decision about which job to take, or where to move may get an answer in a dream or may not - based on the plurality of cases. "God told me in a dream to rob a bank" does not seem very likely to me. (Ahem...)

Another difficulty is that of 'interpretation'. There's (or was) an advertisement on television about a woman who claims to be buying a new cell phone resulting from a revelatory dream. The dream actually said her "... life would change..." It is a humorous approach to what motivates people. However, people have screwy dreams all the time - when I remember them, mine are quite 'odd' - and to twist messages from the Lord from them is questionable at best.

The 'Muslims having dreams about Christ' phenomenon seems to be widespread. I think it is a special case and honest. None of them seem to be engaged in a 'new religion' sort of movement, but a direction toward mainstream Christianity. It may not develop into much and I'm not about to make it a 'new' sacrement or anything of the sort, but I think it is really happening. One notes this phenomenon is limited to non-believers and usually areas with limited access by missionaries.
