Life and death lessen something for nought,
like the poor calculations of a little boy
inside a made up world forgot.
Carcass of a former time, childhood's rot.
The playthings of which we do not wish to toy.
(life and death) Lessen something, not
the nothing that we never really sought.
It's just a non-thing from the past, a decoy
inside. A made up world forgot
by grown up kids too busy to be caught
up by the little things that tried to employ
life and death. Lessen something! Not
the prettiest thing for virgin ears in plot
to hear, but there are worse things to enjoy
inside a made up world forgot.
Perhaps it is better that we never ought
have made the world we knew we would destroy.
