Man arrested in killing of four Chinese nationals at marijuana farm Man arrested in killing of four Chinese nationals at marijuana farm

Mass (4 or more killed) shootings are increasing - this is the second event this week in this country. The fifth, I believe it is in two weeks.

The drug trade is a dangerous game to find yourself in. Does the gun violence archive show whether the gun was legally registered?
No as far as I know the report doesn't indicate whether the guns are registered or not, nor had that incident been registered on that report at the time of my post. Yes the drug trade is dangerous - even on the 10 acre marijuana farm in Lacey Oklahoma, which I believe in many states is now legal here in this country. Maybe some laws will be changed for the better.

Four Chinese nationals at Oklahoma pot farm are shot dead by their colleague 'execution-style' following 'internal dispute'

It states right in the title that it was an internal business dispute.

That's not at all a mass shooting in my book.

4 people killed in an internal business dispute (drug trade disagreement) is now categorized as a mass shooting?

Mass shootings are done for the sake of killing as many people as possible. That's not what happened here.

Unless of course one wants to twist a story into an event to support the push to ban all firearms.

This is akin to claiming everybody who died in the last three years "musta been COVID!"

Would the St. Valentines Day Massacre of 1929 qualify as a "mass shooting"? I'm kind of drawing parallels between the two incidents
I can only go by what guide lines has been set forth to determined what qualifies a mass shooting.
People have a tendency to have their own views of what a mass shooting is -and for them a mass shooting wouldn't involve gang violence, drug violence, etc - because of the way the media has labeled certain gun violence where four or more evictims were killed.
Again
Once the federal government decides to give a definitive definition then and "depending" - one can separate shooting incidences.

When The Saint Valentine's Day massacred happened the words mass shootings and it's definitions were not in use.
From the guidelines set forth - The Saint Valentine's Day massacre and any shooting by a gun where a four or more people are killed would qualify that incident as a mass shooting. And from what the article says they are thinking of adding injuries to the guideline.
And it is happening more and more and more each and every year where multiple people even if not four or more are being killed in one violent incident.
