• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Don't know of sites, though heard it meantioned that, on average, people with AS or autism, get into relations later (getting interested in such, when they're a bit older) than "NT" people.

(I haven't had any relationship, have had infatuations, but always got rejected)
Thanks for the information!

No sites, but I got married at 21. The best thing to do is pray and let God prepare your character so you are ready for marriage when God brings her into your life. Go to ALL of the special singles seminars your local churches might put on, if you trust that church. Bill Gothard Seminars are especially helpful.

Dating never worked for me. When I finally gave up looking, I just hung out in our church's singles group for fellowship and no expectations. DW was one of my friends in the group. Though we did group things together, we never really had any dates. When we weren't doing group things together, her house was one of the places I would hang out. Eventually, God drew us together. We never actually went on a date for just the two of us until AFTER we were married.
