I thank you all, but should i deny the faith God gave me? My faith tells me water baptism is just a confession of faith in Christ, and i am confessing that faith already, even now, do you see what im saying?.

And as i said before, one day i will get baptized just because its commanded, but i put my faith in Christ and his commandments which say to love and live holy, i have faith in him, not in water. Maybe God gave me this faith for his purpose but it is my faith and i cant deny it.

How many folks get baptized and take communion and never actually repent? Maybe God is trying to wake a few people up.

Allow me to explain my faith. I once thought baptism was very important like you all do, but something changed my thinking. I am currently not in a church due to very hard circumstances that i have endured, so i come online for fellowship and the blessings it gives, (the HS is in our hearts, where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name he is with them.

And since then I have seen God work in me although im not baptized, this has blessed me greatly because it put me in a serious relationship with Him, and i prayed for this relationship for years. To me this hardship is an answer to my prayers. God is not limited, he works mightily. Praise God for this blessing.

That's a question only God could answer. I would hope that number is few. But I'm an optimist looking for the good in people.

My point you found unedifying was Proverbs 9:10. And no, I do not mean you need to be scared to death.We are not given the spirit of fear. But a godly fear is wise. It's better defined as awe.

And what of it? Even if the percentage were 99.9%, it would change and mean nothing. The Word of God remains and does not budge, what God has declared, what He has promised, is sturdy and solid.

If your brother is not committing himself to repentance, what is that to you? You know you are to repent, so repent and repent daily.

Some might, BrotherDC.

Some who repent change their mind later and walk away from faith in Jesus Christ.

Nothing in creation is unchangeable except perhaps for Jesus Christ.

Your a fire fly of light in absolute darkness absolutely, ie, caring for what Jesus did at the Cross. Just some Hawaiian steak and lobster to chew on as follows. First and foremost if one doesn't get it that grammatically and contextually "instant of faith" is in the same sphere as "water baptism" for non infants , ie, "water baptism" for infants, then one could have divisive diverse understandings of "faith," each thinking they have the one valid "faith."

For example the RC has a fides caritate formata, Lutherans have a solis fides, and just cut and paste whatever you want with the rest of the 'settings,' sadly including your religious setting, ie, all diverse. My end point after airing an important issue: it's impossible after the 1st century to have the Holy Spirit within your heart, as well as these precious infants, without a credible water baptism. In the mean time, yes, obviously the Holy Spirit has been working on you from the outside in. Sorry that was a long one. Have to go have some Kona coffee with MoreCoffee now.

Proverbs is edifying. I just mean i shouldn't allow something meant for good (baptism) end up snaring me, if my faith is wrong then I hope in a false God. Paul says the just shall live by faith and Romans 10 is talking about faith.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.

1. Are you saying without a valid water baptism, it's impossible for the Holy-Spirit to reside in a person today?

2. If so, does this mean that only those who have been water baptized will go to heaven?

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9

For those that underwent a valid water baptismal rebirth, ie, Rom.6:4, etc. See we can agree to agree, at times.

I understand your concern but its not necessary, im alive in Christ brother. I wager that God has saved folks with preaching alone.

One has to be not only water baptized, eg, Jn.3:5 only for starters, then be baptized in the Genuine NAME (revelation) that the Triune God's personal Name stands or falls on. You will be forced to reject this due to the time you were born into; however you cannot say that I didn't do my best to bring this to you folks attention. Been spewing this out for almost 3 decades now and only about a little less than a 1,000 heard me and less than 100 of those realized the 'spewing' with my end point: This is the reason I'm not a modern Lutheran as they baptize in a another name, yet use the same Personal Name.

The BTK killer was lutheran, he was baptized and president of His Church. But he didnt have the spirit. Im the opposite, perhaps God will use my testimony to shut his mouth on judgment day when he says "did i not get baptized in your name?"
