CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm late and you probably have a baby by now, but I just want to say I am impressed that you remembered to stay home in early labor! Good job!

Another quick update: I'm still laboring at home. I've had absolutely no sleep & have had hard contractions especailly at night. Just waiting for the contractions to be closer together before we go to the hospital. It's hard to walk & stuff when your exhausted but I'm trying. And darn if there isn't a tropical storm/hurricane that is suppose to be hitting somewhere in FL. that's all I need right now.

Yes, we finally have a baby! She was born Aug 20th at 1:56 via C-section. She weighed 7lb 2 0z. I'll post my birth story later boy was it a doozie! Thanks for all the prayers and hope everyone is doing good.
