Ok, now this is just getting ridiculous.

For the fourth time, an indictment of former President Donald Trump came right around the time Hunter Biden got bad news.
Either the two of them have their timelines intertwined by some “Twilight Zone” type phenomenon, or something is rotten in the state of our nation.
March 16: Hunter Biden admits that the Biden family has made millions in deals with China — and a spokesman complains about a “wild and baseless right-wing conspiracy.”

March 17: News leaks of Trump’s first indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, shifting the news cycle.

June 8: Republicans on the House Oversight Committee confirm the existence of an FBI FD-1023 file containing allegations about President Joe Biden’s involvement in Ukraine.
June 9: Special counsel Jack Smith releases a grand jury indictment against Trump in a documents-related case.

July 31: Devon Archer, a close business associate of Hunter Biden, testifies before the House Oversight Committee that Joe Biden, as vice president, was part of at least 20 business calls with Hunter Biden while associates were present.

August 1: Smith unveils Trump’s indictment related to the Capitol incursion of Jan. 6, 2021.

August 11: Attorney General Merrick Garland appoints a special counsel for the Hunter Biden case; Aug. 14: Fox releases report on Biden transition team being tipped to planned FBI interview with Hunter Biden.
August 14: A Georgia grand jury indicts Trump for his statements about the 2020 election.

Who's winning? I mean I've placed my bet, but what's your take?

And couldn't it be just as easily the other way around? Republicans catch wind of indictments and events coming down the pipe and rush to put out the next big ticket accusation against the president or his family just so the right-wing media can make the arguments being made in this thread? Maybe that's why most of their stuff isn't panning out the way they want. They're being sloppy and not really properly investigating anything. That's what happened with Archer. The guy flat out said on record that he was not aware of ANY impropriety by the president with regard to any of Hunter's and his business dealings. TOTALLY EXONERATED!! some might say, even.

MAGA loyalists really need to just face the fact that Donald J. Trump is a criminal. He always has been. They've been duped. It's continuing today. Just need to admit it and throw support back to true conservatives to get things back on track before the party completely implodes and goes the way of other parties in history.

If bad news about Hunter keeps triggering Trump indictments, why don't you guys stop going after Hunter?

The more I've thought about it, the more this is the only explanation that makes sense -- I would have posted something similar. The fact is that Grand Juries take a bit of time to set up, you can't just set up a Grand Jury on the spur of the moment, get all the witnesses lined up to appear, all to make sure you can put out an indictment the day after some "news" hits.

Instead, Republicans likely know when many of the witnesses are testifying before Grand Juries -- while what occurs in Grand Juries is secret, witnesses can talk. In fact, most witnesses have to be able to tell their employer that they have been subpoenaed and need to go in and testify on a certain day, and they need work off. We even had Trump knowing when the former GA Lt. Gov. was going to appear before the Grand Jury, with Trump on social media telling him not to testify.

It is far easier for those in Congress, particularly since so many of the people testifying before the Trump Grand Juries are Republican, to schedule a witness (such as Devon Archer) around the time they expect an indictment to come down, based on when they know other Republicans will be going before the Grand Jury. It looks even more like this when you look at Republican's expected Devon Archer to say and what he actually said.

So, maybe it is a conspiracy, but one perpetrated by the Republicans and not the Democrats.

Its probably the other way round.

Jim Jordan and similar have a pretty good clue about Trump bad news timing, and schedule their activities to suit.

EDIT (oops, looks like Simply Me got here first).

Court proceedings in general are time consuming and unpredictable. Anyone who has served on a jury can appreciate the unpredictable schedule in a trial, never mind Grand Jury proceedings, etc. It's really silly to suggest a prosecutor would time an indictment with x event in the political sphere....

Are you admitting the only reason for the Trump indictments are to cover for Hunter?

No, I was making a joke.

I think searching for a pattern here is akin to looking for shapes in the clouds. You can cherry pick anything to invent whatever pattern you want to see.

I reckon, the only reason for the Trump indictments are strong evidence of criminality.

Same with the Biden investigation and calls for impeachment.

Look, if Biden is guilty for a crime, I 'm all for throwing the book at him. What crime has Joe done and what evidence is there.

It is coming out in a variety of methods - have you listened to the Congressional hearings with the whistleblowers coming forward? Have you read the reports from information gleaned from Hunter's business associates?

I mean listened to both sides - not just what the propaganda media puts out. I don't mean that as a dig - one of the great things I have found by not having cable tv is that I have to research and read instead of listen to some millionaire talking head telling me what they think I should know.

I've watched Comer interviews, he comes across with lots of innuendo and accusations but doesn't present any evidence. He was claiming to have witnesses but they were either lost or turned out to be criminals.

There is also one instance where a witness is said to be providing evidence of a crime from those on the right and then others say the witness was saying to exact opposite, and was saying the Joe Biden was not involved in any business dealings with Hunter's associates.

Even the fox news hosts (one of the biggest propaganda media organisations you can find) were challenging Comer about the need for him to provide supporting evidence of his claims. I guess Fox News have learned from the costly debacle of the Dominion systems and their reporting of that, that they need to highlight when claims they broadcast haven't been substantiated.

But here, on a random forum on the internet, it seems there is no such responsibility in moderating unjustified and unsupported claims.

There ya go! Two intelligent posters seeing information and coming to completely different conclusions.

Perhaps that is why the two candidates are still neck and neck in the polls

If you don't trust the mainstream media, you should quit quoting them in the "Trump's Faith" thread as if the headlines are authoritative.

Can you identify when in the last 2 years there was a sufficient lull in baseless GOP accusations against the Bidens for it to be acceptable for the courts to do their job? Please be specific.

It seems more to be a situation where one side bases their hopes on random claims from GOP propagandists while the other looks at the actual testimony from witnesses showing these random claims don't pan out.
