Yes, I was Saved and Baptized in a Indepentent Fundemental Baptist Church in Detroit, at Age 10, I'm now 32. Open Door Baptist Church, was where I was saved. Church is still around, still delievering the time-less Gospel of Jesus Christ. I did however, take a detour into Pentecostalism for 20 years. The founding Pastor of Open Door Baptist got caught up in Sin of Sexual inmorality, and resigned, I took this quite hard, and my parents ended up transferring me out of the School that was ran by that Church (where I was saved, so, them Christian School are quite effective...) and transferred me to a School ran by Pentecostal's... So, by default, I ended up there. (I was invited, no one forced me, I went on my own accord...) If I knew then, what I know now, I'd never made that switch. Anyhow, Thanks be to the Lord that he has opened my eyes and I left that movement for good. It's nice to be home.

Not sure what Calvinism is, surely has to do with John Calvin, but I'm IFB! Although I feel KJV is the most acceptable version for studying, I don't see anything wrong with other versions when compared to KJV.

I have my own private opinion that there is no such thing as preaching Christ and Him crucified, unless we preach what nowadays is called Calvinism. It is a nickname to call it Calvinism; Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else. I do not believe we can preach the gospel, if we do not preach justification by faith, without works; nor unless we preach the sovereignty of God in His dispensation of grace; nor unless we exalt the electing, unchangeable, eternal, immutable, conquering love of Jehovah; nor do I think we can preach the gospel, unless we base it upon the special and particular redemption of His elect and chosen people which Christ wrought out upon the cross; nor can I comprehend a gospel which lets saints fall away after they are called, and suffers the children of God to be burned in the fires of damnation after having once believed in Jesus. Such a gospel I abhor.

Calvinism is just a nick given to the historical Gospel as found with in the pages of Scripture, that is all it is.

True, the last days are here : people are falling away from the true Word of God and giving in to other new age politically correct bibles, which are doctrines of devils, and their excuse is these new bibles are easier to understand, (itching ears?)

Remember, Jesus is the Word of God who became flesh.
Transliterators, keep in mind, when you try to change the Word of God, you try to change Jesus, who is Lord of lords and changes not.

I am not a KJO, as I use many versions and use the KJV mostly. I do have a question though as I have not seen any KJO people expound this view as you have.

Where is this in the KJV book , chapter, verse. I have yet to find a passage that refers to a King calling toghter in 1600's, people who were Calvinist mostly and a Roman Catholic to render an english version of the Scriptures and published by the Royal press and Authorized by a secular form of govenment.
