but i love incubus. they used to be my favorite band about 2 years ago. Science, fungus, and morning view are my favorite cds.

incubus is good... but i've stopped listening to them just because i'm exploring so many other bands right now.
my favorite songs are new skin, idiot box, just a phase, 11 am, aqueous transmission, under my umbrella, speak free, redefine,... the list goes on and on.

they're from calabasas, which is like 25 min. from where i live. and they recorded morning view in malibu, which is like 30 min. from where i live. But no, i've never met them.

so bahbahbritty86, what other bands do you like? i saw you post in the dmb thread too.

LOL! I don't just like them cuz Brandon Boyd is an attractive man! I liked them even before I was into "hippy/rockstar" looking guys! And, more importantly, long before the song "Drive" came out. Oh man...what other bands do I like...hmmm....so many great ones! DMB (as you know), Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Story of the Year, Yellowcard, Lost Prophet, Rusted Root, Ryan Adams, Howie Day, Radiohead, Jane's Addiction, Hoobastank, Ashlee Simpson, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, White Stripes, the Strokes, OAR (Of A Revolution), and MANY MANY MORE!!

they're are my third favourite band (after metallica and tool). they are soooooooo incredibly good! i've got a crow left of the murder, morning view, make yourself and S*C*I*E*N*C*E. i'm yet to get fungus amungus and enjoy incubus, but i plan to sometime. brandon boyd is in my top 5 favourite vocalists, mike einziger (sp?) is one of my favourite guitarists and dirk lance, well, he's just plain awesome! (apparently he left though )

Rock on, Roo!! I have all of the same CDs as you! I got them in the order they came out (so S.C.I.E.N.C.E., then Make Yourself...and so one) and I SWEAR they just kept on getting better and better!!! My next Incubus album to purchase is called (something like) "When Incubus Attacks"...am I correct? All I know is that it's a rare album, so you can only get it online! ACLOTM is one of my favorite CDs of all time! Brandon Boyd put so much raw emotion and anger into this last album and it's great! If you listen closely there are so many emotions expressed about society, love, you name it! The songs about society and govt. (i.e. "Pistola") remind me alot of Rage Against The Machine how they made alot of statements about society, and government "corruption."

Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals ROCK!! I was supposed to go see them at Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI) last summer...but that fell through! I got attacked to Pink Floyd after I heard the LIVE version of "Dark Side of the Moon"..OH MY GOSH, it is AMAZING!!! OAR...they rock too!! Awesome "jam band"! I have one of their live CDs too...um...[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]! I'm drawing a blank, but I'll look in my CD case and give you the name! It is an awesome live album...all around! I've heard that OAR is awesome in concert and it shows in their live albums!

Yes, Faranor...I HIGHLY recommend you check out ANY of their other CDs! I've have to say that "Make Yourself" was one of their "mediocre" albums (well...when compared to their OTHER (rather AWESOME) albums! You should check out songs such as "Echo," "Stellar," "A Crow Left of the Murder," "Pistola," "Southern Girl," "Here in my Room," and SOOOO Many more!!

I can't argue that either! Brandon Boyd IS, by far, my favorite vocalist out of all of my bands! Then I'd have to go with **DAVE** (DMB), then John Mayer, then Ben Harper...then...I DUNNO...they're all so good!!!

They have a very unique sound for sure...I have "Morning View" and it's definitely one of the most original sounding albums in my collection. I agree that Brandon's voice is fantastic too.

brandon's voice is good. I'm not as impressed as i used to be with him. i like his hair though.


you guys seriously all need to buy fungus. it is sooooo good. and britty, i have "when incubus attacks" It's pretty good, there's a secret song on it called "smokin the herb again" it's pretty funny.

did any of you guys buy any live bootlegs? i got live @ lollapalooza 2003

Sometimes I listen to his songs (especially his live stuff) and it just makes me wanna cry! Songs like "when she believes," or "waiting on an angel"...wow, you're right--RAW EMOTION!!

I have a couple of live tracks that were on a CD of mp3's that a friend of mine gave me...I think the tracks were "The Warmth" and some other one whose name escapes me right now.

I saw them live in 2001, great show, overall very talented band, and coming from this generation, that says alot. I am seriously considering getting a jazzmaster cause Mike Einziger picked one up and inspired me to check them out.

I really like Incubus. I have since the beginning. Funny thing is though, I was never really a huge fan of Drive... now contrary to what Bryce thinks... hahaha. But yah I used to have the biggest crush on him when I was younger. Actually I just think the only thing about him I thought was hot, were his tattoos... which I still find pretty sexy.

Anywho.... yah Morning View is one of my fav albums... stupid me forgot it at home, so mom is sending it out to me But hey I even like their newest one uhh A crow left of the..... whatever its called
