Amen,Albion! There's no historical structure for validating leadership thus can go amuk. If we are honest the Catholic makes a good point here.

Yes, they do, but I wouldn't want to say that most Protestant denominations which have levels of leadership--usually local, regional, and then national--can't do as good a job of it. And that's most of them.
