We are taught to rejoice in the Lord, knowing that he loves us is helpful in that. I was thinking about what you said about seeing God as he sees us and i was reminded that we should also look at others as God sees them, we all are sinners, no one is good and no one seeks after God, no not one.

God sees us that way but he also shows mercy and urges us to seek Him and His kingdom instead of the kingdom of this world which is fallen and can only bring suffering and then death. Its easy to judge others but not easy to judge ourselves, if we try to see others as God sees them it becomes easier to love them, we are sinners and no better than anyone else, and when i picture people sitting in hell it makes me love them a little more because i know what that feels like, i wouldn't wish it on anyone, not even my worst enemy. Seeing others and ourselves as God sees us, and seeing God for what He really is, is helpful in humbling us and helpful in teaching us to love.

Hi friend :)

I agree whole heartedly. When we serve the poor and poor in spirit we also serve Christ even though we may forget this. This is why I thank God for ministry and the opportunity to serve. And when I struggle with weaknesses of the flesh I ask for God's help to lean on Him because I am little and recognize my littleness. I pray long "Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me" and trust in Him with confidence of His grace and mercy. Though even then suffering may be found in resisting temptations and trials.

And with those whom I serve, the depressed, with mental health issus, poverty, addictions, disabilities I pray "Lord Jesus Christ haver mercy on us". For I identify with them in their struggles not excluding myself from the whole human family at large. The dissolving of judging came with the grace of forgiveness of those who hurt me in some way. And in seeing the mercy of Christ for me.

You are blessed to have opportunity and devotion, i am not in a position to help myself let alone others but i try to take what little i have and do the best i can with it, i am not the best servant, but the Lord is helping me to be, just speaking good things can be helpful to many people. I want to be a blessing to others. We have internet and can use that for Gods service. Im reminded of the Lords words to Peter when He told peter that satan desired to sift him like wheat, and that the Lord prayed for peter, so that afterwards when he was converted he could strengthen his brethren. That scripture has clung to me recently and it leads me i think. I want to be a blessing to others, i have been the opposite a lot and there is no joy in it, only in being humble and a blessing to others do i have peace and joy. The Lord leads me and this is why i feel this way. Its all Him. :)

I need some brotherly love right now. Big changes coming in my life. I have zero family or friends. My health is terrible. I don't want to be alone anymore.

We share the blood of Jesus....that makes us family. We are brothers and sisters in Christ.

You are never alone...God is always with you!

Are you seeing a physician for your health issues? What kind of changes are you facing?

If you need to talk, we are here.

Prayers are lifted for you!! God Bless!

I was a thief, an addict and cruel at times. Grist for the mill when we turn ourselves over to Him.
