In the Valleys
Psalm 104:10... He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills.
2 Kings 3:17... For this is what the LORD says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink.
Joel 3:18... In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the LORD's house and will water the valley of acacias.
Have you ever been in a valley? Have you ever felt really 'low', tempted to give up? Have you ever felt your hope drying up?
Look at these 'valley' & water scriptures! Look at the Lord's provision. It seems where the valleys are - that's where the Lord sends His 'springs of water'.
This water is provided where there appears to be no natural source. These 'springs of water' come from the Lord's hand; this is fresh water, sustaining, life giving water.
Look at God's care and grace, the deeper the valley, the more life giving water can be sent and collected there.
What do we have to do to receive this life sustaining water? All we have to do is come to our heavenly Father and ask! Are you in a valley where hope is being dried up? Come, come to the shepherd, ask, and He will give you living water, enough to fill the deepest valley.
___________
Revelation 7:17... For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
John 4:10.. Jesus answered her, If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.
___________
Thank You Lord for Your provision, Your care, Your grace, Your living water for all who thrist. Lord, next time we find ourselves in a valley, let us come to You and drink. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
COME, Drink, Be Refreshed!
