In The Beginning...

What is the Reformed teaching on why God even made man? What was our "purpose", if you will, before sin ever entered into the world? Why were we put here? What would we have done all day had sin not entered into the world through Adam? Please, if you can, I'd love the scripture referrences to your replies too. Thanx for any and all thoughts ahead of time...

Two passages immediately come to mind (I'm sure there are more) as far as what we're here to do. Ecclesiastes 11:13 and Rev 4:11 (depends on the translation with that one).

Eph 1 goes into more detail as to the ultimate reason we're here (not just what we're here to do). That is to glorify God. God saved us for HIS glory. It had nothing to do with us.
