:( Today is the 2 year anniversary of the death of my mother-in-law and nephew. My nephew would have been six years old this year. They were killed in the same car crash on January 28, 2003. My mom-in-law was taking my 2 nephews and 2 sister-in-laws to school and work. My oldest sister-in-law, mom of the 2 boys, called my mom-in-law b/c her car broke down. About two miles down the road another car crossed the line and hit them head-on. Killed them 2 instantly; broke my youngest sis-in-law's arm, leg, and all of her toes; broke my oldest sis-in-law from her waste down; and caused internal bleeding for the oldest nephew. The family is getting together tonight to have dinner and just remember them. Now my sister-in-laws are fine, and so is my other nephew. Today is a sad day. It was the worst tragedy that my family has ever experienced. Please keep my family in your prayers today.

I praise God that I know where they are both at, and I praise him for allowing my other family members to be alive and well. We are so blessed.

I'm so sorry about your tragedy. I lost my dad one year ago last sunday and I know what that first anniversary can be like. I am holding your whole family in prayer. When you get together, remember to laugh and enjoy the beauty of their lives, not just mourn the tragedy of their deaths. And I thank God that your other family members are doing well now!

It is so hard to lose family, and children in particular. Our family lost a 6 month old last week ( my great nephew) in a car accident. The car he was in was rear-ended so hard it broke the car seat in half. It is just devasting. Thankfully there is a lot of support as the parents and grandparents are Christians. Still really hurts bad, though.

Will be praying for you and your family.

It's hard to lose family members and relatives, but always think positively. God is merciful and will look after you should you continue to trust Him. He loves you and will provide for you. Thank Him for what you have right now and look not into the past.

I will pray for you. :crossrc:

wow, thats a huge sudden thing to happen to a family and so very sad.

It's good you gather together at this time. I see it as a positive move to bring the family together and share those memories you all have of those you lost.

I will pray for your family, for strength, and ofr this to become a positive time together, even if right now it is too raw to think of as positive.

James
