In Memory of Stevie Ray Vaughan

I'll never forget August 27th, 1990. It was the day that Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter accident. He was taken away from us way too early. A phenomenal guitar player and a great influence on me back when I played guitar. I had the awesome pleasure of seeing him in concert shortly before he died. About six weeks before. Does anyone else here remember him or have any memories they'd like to share? Some of my favorite songs by Stevie were:

Stevie Ray was a great one man, he is not one of my must listen too guitar players or music artists. He was a darn good guitar play and would have liked to have seen him live, but I was only three when he passed. "Lenny", "Pride and Joy", and "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" are great. It also blows my mind how he played with .13 size strings on his guitar!

He had to use strings that were that big because his hands were just massive. He'd keep breaking smaller strings. He's also an underrated singer too.

we named our tom cat stevie after him,love the guy. youtube has some awesome interviews with him. for me love the work he did with his brother jimmy lee. check out their cd together.
also I love the house is rockin and of course crossfire.

Yeah, I bought Family Style when it first came out. It was cool cuz it was a different sound and direction for Stevie to go in.
