  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When a loved one dies, that person goes to Rainbow Bridge. A
place where they do what gives them pleasure. A place where those
who were ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were
hurt are made whole and strong again, just as we remember
them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
They are happy and content, except for one small thing;

they each have people very special to them, who had to be left behind.
Those with whom they shared their heart's and friends who shared in
their life. As they wait on the other side of those pearly gates, their
attention is captured by something in the distance.

We have been spotted, and when we finally meet,
We cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The reunion you looked forward to, has finally come to pass.
You look once more into the eyes of your loved one, departed
from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then together, you cross Rainbow Bridge and enter the pearly gates

Looking forward to seeing you again. Uncle Bill.
