Nature's Angel

He wears a furry white lofty crown
Nature endowed it upon him with honor
He is the king for he rules
Pale blue symmetrical silky angel wings
Glorious blue baby soft feathers
from front to back
Black tiny sparkling bright eyes
Proud and tall he stands just gleaming
Full of innocence
Full of glee
A mighty voice he throws forward
Unrelenting and enchanting in its forms
The sweet adorable loving parakeet
A tiny parrot
An immense sensitivity
Nature's finest
Heaven sent
A true angel

Thank you Adiya. He was a gentle sweet little birdie. He would make himself into a little ball and sit next to Lenny making Lenny look big when they both are the same size. Lenny is doing well. I am giving him lots of attention so he won't be lonely.

I ,too, was with Angel when she died. I had taken her to the vet a couple of days before and she had surgery. They said she was doing well and that I could take her home. I lived an hour away and as I entered my driveway, she passed away next to me. I keep picturing it, too. My heart still breaks every time I think of it. I just try my best to think of the better days. I try to remember the melodies she would sing or the few words she would say. Also the times when I'd give her a cracker and she had to break it up into a pile before she would eat it. I bet you have many good memories of Joey. Try to think of those times. Still praying for you.
