Daddy
You bathed me
You fed me
You held me when I cried
You taught me, who God was
And that for me He died
You made me toys
When money was tight
Sometimes you worked both day and night
And I am grateful, Lord knows its true
I was blessed to have a Dad Like you
Years past and I watched you grow older
And there were things,
That could have made you grow colder
But what a beautiful soul
I love you more
Than I could have showed
You were Faithful to the end,
My Father, my Mentor, my Friend
I bathed you
I fed you
I held you,
And we cried
We talked of, our Gods love
And I watched you as you died
As I watched you leave this earth
A light shined on your face
As you entered your new birth
Into Gods glory and grace
