Has anyone ever read this book? It's a classic. The story is great. There are two versions; a short one and a longer one that's more detailed. It's a story of this small town church that applied the question "What Would Jesus Do" in their daily life. It's so amazing to see these people change their lives so drasticaly throughout the story. I would recomend this book to anyone. You will really examin your life while reading it and learn a lot about yourself.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it's by Charles Shultz, but I'm not sure. I lent my copy out to some one at church. She is still reading it, but I'll ask her to check the auther's name.

The author is Charles M. Sheldon. (Charles Schultz did the Peanuts/Charlie Brown comic strip).

Yup, great stuff. I liked the part about how the newspaper editor transformed his paper, since I'm thinking of starting a Christian newspaper myself.

The one I read is a fairly large sized book and it has picutes of the people and the town in it. it's really cool. And the story is in more detail so you get more out of it.
