CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are right, their not Christian, but nothing, at least that I know of, points to them being satanic. I liked In Flames, until Reroute To Remain. Their last two albums are bad and worthless. Their first couple albums are awesome though.

I've only heard Colony, and it was some good melodic death metal, then i heard their latest CDs and they have gone so bland, meanwhile, Dark Tranquility still owns. And no, they aren't satanic, most bands that are, are very open about it and you will have not doubt. Trust me, bands who are satanic aren't sutble about it and subliminal messages are gone the way of the dinosaur (and no, alternate meanings to lyrics don't count).

if you can find the article in one of the HM magazines, it was either a past 2 to 3 issues ago, HM talked to In Flames. far from being Satanic, and i like their music a lot.

i still have yet to hear Jester Race, but i have Lunar Strain. imo, it's their only decent album, and a damn good one at that
