breaking down a wall is not walking through it, it's making a hole in it.

you can't walk through walls because the electrons in the wall repel the ones in your body.
it's why you can't phase your hand through your computer screen either, unless you are immortal and can do it trillions of times, then it might happen...

Energy isn't being generated by the electrons, they're simply electromagnetically repelling you. And there is something solid in the wall, it's just concentrated into discrete lumps (QM notwithstanding).

Why is it some human beings can't understand that you cannot create a perpetual motion machine with zero energy input unless there is absolutely zero friction (which is basically impossible to achieve)?

There was a farmer in Alberta maybe 10 years ago that was saying he had created an engine that 'ran on nothing'/was a perpetual motion machine (or smth similar). Of course many other farmers and locals (and my dad) were all talking about this and 'was it true?' and 'ooo ooo aahhh aahhh' nonesense.
I told my dad - look -- just calm down and think about it for just a moment ... it is ridiculous. They teach you in 2nd year engineering (thermodynamics) with laws of energy that it all has to ADD UP!! so where is the energy coming from that you are losing to friction?!?!?! ... anyways eventually of course everyone realized that the engine didn't run forever ...

the part that upsets me ISN'T that eveyone was talking about it or that the farmer wasn't telling the truth -- HE actually thought he was onto something. What bothers me is that he WASTED honestly thousands of hours of his own time and thousands of dollars for nothing ... was he really that arrogant that he believed that ALL of the professors in hundreds of universities over decades just couldn't come up with a perpetual motion machine on their own with 150+ IQ and research funding, libraries, grad students (read: slave labour ), etc. !?!?

I'm not saying not to be creative but work smarter, not harder ... a couple of hours at the front end of that would have perhaps changed his direction and maybe in the end he would have actually created or discovered something useful ... /end rant.

Information related to an experiment, in my case, is simply the exact description of what I observed. Maybe I am wrong in developing my research, but at least I am not telling anything untruth

Knowingly, at least. The problem with perpetual motion machines is that they contradict a mathematical law, the premises of which encompass the machine they're trying to build.

I really should not have said 'lied' -- wrt this thread I'm an engineer and am familiar with a decent level of thermodynamics and physics and so I am also familiar with the laws of physics to know that perpetual motion machines are impossible.
Stating otherwise or the possibility otherwise would be akin to someone stating in front of a medical professional that in thier village they might have discovered a new form of birth control because it seems like in their village girls that have stood up immediately after intercourse have not become pregnant ... the medical professional of course KNOWS better.

I could give several examples of experiences in my life where people have unintentionally spread misinformation to me - such as how to lose body fat -- which resulted in years of frustration and wasted effort for me ... and I wish that if those people hadn't know what they were talking about they would have had the serenity to just remain silent - perhaps someone who actually knew something on the topic could have helped. It is ok to not say anything or just listen than to spread information that you are not sure is correct ...
