Quite often they are preoccupied talking about Jesus, but how his message, nature etc. "is misunderstood" etc.

That stuff generally comes from people who have become enthralled with the apalling work of fiction styled "the Book of Enoch". -sigh-5) Early Genesis concerning "the Watchers" also mirrors this kind of thing. The angelic sons of God did give the early humans various kinds of technological knowledge.

If you mean aliens, according to witnesses they claim to come from other planets and have told various other falsehoods.
