I remember when Sweden changed sides. Have you heard about the people who practised driving on the wrong side of the road to get used to driving on that side when they went to Europe on holiday? (Joke!)

Giving way to the right and driving on the right can be a challenge because it can leave the driver on the left having to look through the head of the passenger on the right.

I'd suggest here in the US we:
1. change to giving way to the left
2. move the steering wheel to the right so we can see if we need to give way to someone.
3. move the steering wheel to the right and drive on the left so we can both see who to give way to and have the driver near the center line of the road.
