impatience

so God has been telling me for a while now he heard my prayer. i have been waiting and i feel so strongly that the breakthrough is going to happen any day now. i have an idea of what i think is going to happen but i am also aware that God can answer my prayer in a way very different than what i am thinking.
i just would like to request prayer for help getting through these days of waiting- that i become still and patient not antsy. or whatever you guys in your experience have learned if you could share. thank you
