Yeah, that's what you all say yet all preach something different in some major doctrinal issues. IF your not infallible, then please don't preach what may be heresey. That is not God's Will when He wanted His Word spread throughout the world.I read coming to my Father and praying for God to give me wisdom to know and understand His word. For He is the Author of His word.
The culmination of my posts provide answers to your questions. WHether you accept them is a different question entirely.
Dead words on Paper? This is what scripture says.
That's great IamAdopted. You have shown nothing here but point out we can use Scripture. I'm still waiting for your Scripture is sufficient verse. And please don't throw at us Tim 3:16 again. Before you do that, take a glance at a couple verses up and notice there is an appeal to Tradition, right before the appeal to the Scriptures. He plainly told him to hold on and be faithful from what he learned from him and I highly doubt it was just reading his marterials.
Tim 3:14
But you, remain faithful to what you have learned and believed, because you know from whom you learned it,
And lets take one more look at verse 16-17 which you seem to think proves us wrong and take it step by step to what exactly we believe about those verses.
16 All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
What the Catholic Chruch believes about Scripture.
All Scripture is inspired......Correct
All Scripture is useful for teaching........Correct
All Scripture is useful for refutation......Correct
All Scripture is useful for training in righteousness....Correct
All Scripture may equip the Man of God for every good work..........Correct.
Now we have to throw in your added interpretation.
All Scripture is All you need......Um no. Why can't you people get this already before you try throwing it at us again.
Only when properly interpretated. Otherwise it's dead. It doesnt preach or speak.Where did I say that God's word was stagnant? God's words live through scripture to this day.
My point obviously is for you to not dare trying to use that verse on us again to prove Mary had children since you obviously know Mother could have easily been Israel. And yes, the Woman clothed with the sun is Mary and maybe even both. But not just Israel alone.Yes, that is why the woman clothed in the sun depicted in Revelation is not Mary. So what exactly IS your point.
Show me where I agreed with her post which was to disprove Oral Tradition. Please don't put words in my mouth. So you agree with her post, give evidence that her post is right, and then disagree at the end? Typical.:o
He's saying God knows his folly's and sin. Jesus never sinned.I have no clue what you are trying to say here. Please explain.

So the RCC interpretation is dead? Yep I though so.
My point obviously is for you to not dare trying to use that verse on us again to prove Mary had children since you obviously know Mother could have easily been Isreal. And yes, the Woman clothed with the sun Mary and maybe even both. But not just Isreal alone.
What part of messianic psalm quoted by Jesus in John do you not understand? Mary had other children. The bible is CLEAR about that. The Immaculate Conception is a RCC doctrine which is NOT biblical.

For this I can agree for it does what it did when the Apostles preached and wrote it for it is as alive today as it was back then for we serve a living God. He confirms His word with signs following. For all of us that are born of His spirit can attest to the truth of His word. We don't need tradtions to see how alive Our God is. He lives in each one of Us. His words become the breathe of our life. We are not told that tradtion is inspired of God any where in scripture. We are told that scripture is. I don't so much have problems with the tradtions of the Apostles because I read what they wrote and with that I can see what their tradtions were like. For Paul wrote many of the Epistles and in each one He says the very same thing. So I am quite sure when He spoke in Person He spoke just as He wrote.I'm sorry but that simply won't cut it. God's Word isnt Stagnant
In all scripture I do not see where when the word was preached that behind it came when properly interpreted.Only when properly interpretated. Otherwise it's dead. It doesnt preach or speak.
16(Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
3I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
I don't see traditions in there either.24For,
"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
25but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.
Hmm, so you actually need to hear that from Scripture to believe that too. I didnt realize you thought that misinterpretated Scripture was the Word of God. If not, then there was really no point in saying it doesnt say that at the end of when it was preached except so to give you the excuse to copy more verses to puff up your feathers some more as if your actually proving something. In all scripture I do not see where when the word was preached that behind it came when properly interpreted. I don't see traditions in there either.
I think you know deep down that it isnt so clear after all my friend.Mary had other children. The bible is CLEAR about that. The Immaculate Conception is a RCC doctrine which is NOT biblical.

Don't see where the SCriptures are sufficient. The CHurch must have left that part out of my bible. Which passage is it?
We are not talking about the Apostles. I was talking about you. Scripture doesnt talk so it's all up to you on how it is interpretated. You need to study the lanugage and culture of the time to even try and get a grasp of what it is trying to say in many verses. God left this with people who couldnt even read let alone study another language they never even heard of? Don't thinks so.For this I can agree for it does what it did when the Apostles preached and wrote it for it is as alive today as it was back then for we serve a living God.
Since you know my answer, maybe you can try refuting it.Well what do you know, the old trusty passage.
2 Tim 3:15-17
15and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Of course I know what your answer will be. Gee, that just takes the fun out of it.
Since you know my answer, maybe you can try refuting it.
