Middle class image?
Is it the Churches felt that the working classes arent attending Church?
I mean i agree you get some of the upper crust type and they act like it.
But being of good working class stock meself and proud of it, ive never seen it as an issue, in my Church there are normal workers, upper middle class and also very wealthy people.
If the middle classes are the only ones to still participate to a larger degree, of course its natrually going to become more intwined to that culture, its not the Churches fault the working class have lost interest.
I am "common as muck" alot would say. But what image are they talking about?, true Christians wether working class, middle or upper, value respectfulness, politness, helping others, so i dont get what other "image" they are looking for.
