  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

... on channel 38 (WADL), he's acting like God is speaking through him, and basically begging for money. The central message is that the more money you donate, the higher God's opinion of you will be. This man is making all sorts of extremely broad psychic predictions such as "I can feel that there's someone single out there, and believe me, God has someone for you, but you need to take that first step! [and give me money]." There's testionials about making $500 vows and within weeks having signifigant finincial success, loved ones overcoming diseases, and increased happiness. Basically, they want you to buy God's love.

I really feel sorry for anybody who gives this sheister money.

1-800-593-8449 is the phone number, I can't find the name of this televangelist, but I really think that people like this should be stopped from stealing from the down trotten.

"God wants you to have a new car"

Ahh! I am going to make it my mission to stop this guy.

I want to throw things at my T.V.

Should I call the number and yell at them?

Edit, here he is.

I have seen a few televangelists . Its pretty obvious that not even they buy their own bs .

They are nothing but pathetic crooks perverting christianity and sucking the things out of christianity that make sense ... and replacing the good things about the religion with utter nonsense . They dont deserve to be watched . Change thy channel .

Ah, the gospel of material prosperity...

the "Name it, Claim it" God wants to "bless you" just "sow a seed" kinda schmack... so sad, but it's simple marketing. When one sends out say and advertising mailer, you plan around a 3-4 percent response rate. I imagine if you can tune your message just right and get just enough scriptural support, one could probably expect a ten to fifteen percent response. "Straight Gravy"!

What else is funny, is that unlike other types of marketing schemes, success rates will likely grow the longer you're around. You actually gain a following. It's a marketing dream. Pyramid schemes are illegal in the US, but many of these televangelists are exactly that...

Sometimes I just sit and stare at those guys, I find it fascinating & quite amusing. I can't believe people buy in it, some people are really gullible. I wonder how christians tell which ones are real and which are phonies. Alot of preachers spout off the same non-sense as those guys, and they're respected.
Who knows.

Well im not a Bible expert, but im sure it says "you will know them by their fruits"

So if people are healed and God is at work then I guess you shouldn’t say bad stuff bout that guy.

But if there isn’t any fruit/bad stuff then hes a fake!

;)

ps. Benny Hinn is an Amazing Vessel of God!

Does anyone know how those faithhealing demonstrations work? I assume they have everything planned as far as who comes onto stage? I would imagine, or else they depend on people lying naturally. I've always wanted to attend one and try to get up on stage. What would be more funny than going up there as a gimp, and then pretend to be blinded by the healing.
"Oh my god, I can't see anything, I'm blind!
Funny to me anyways.

Just for my own amusement, I ordered some free Miracle Spring Water.

What’s so funny? Why bother ordering that if you don’t believe it will heal.... Its not special water, its used to increase your faith and certainty... people have faith it will work, and their faith makes it possible for it to work.

"Your faith has made you well" who said that?

Jesus Chirst! All things are possible through him.

So Jesus is a placebo now?

Well I went to see Benny Hinn... I think that some people that go to the front and fall over does it on purpose...others don’t. There was a lot of Hype there, but God was doing stuff as one person I was talking to in the Q was in a wheelchair... by the end of the night they could walk.... [And they couldn’t even move the legs]

God does work through Benny Hinn

Many people were healed, no way that was staged, also you can feel The Holy Spirit.
