I am thinking about converting to Catholicism and he said he would go to the classes with me even though he is already Catholic. He is ready to get brave and stand up for Christ like never before. I"m not jumping into anything folks, don't worry. The focus is Jesus. I just wanted to let you know that this miracle happened.

Your testimony is a powerfull one, similar to the testimony of my ex-fiance. She used to be a stripper, used cocaine for years, and has done many things in her life. But despite it all, God has made her new and clean again. Precious Lamb!!! Oh New Creation, I am rejoicing with the angels over your awakening. However, I must respectfully disagree with some of what you appear to have been told. I too am a strong person and after living submitted I still felt the urge to reach out. I found out THIS IS THE LORD! HE put this in me as HE did with you. What you must do is be patient and learn all you can, the Lord needs to prepare you for what HE has for you to do.
I would like to recommend to you Joyce Meyer. She has a site online and she is on television sometimes. She is simply an awesome teacher of the Word of God. You will find strength in her story of how she struggled and struggles with different things. The Lord graced her with the talent for teaching and reaching others with His truth.
Look at my avatar, I was a rebellious lamb and HE restored me and now has directed me to help others. I am still shocked at the number of folks who are satisfied with sitting and warming a pew. Jesus did not establish a church to do this. We are to be actively out in the community loving people and sharing HIS love for them. We are commanded to be a light in a dark place.
Jesus will use you New Creation when the time is right. Never try to get ahead of God, HE has it all perfectly in order, it is we who get too enthused and jump ahead of the horse! I really think Joyce Meyer would help you out in MANY different ways. She is an anointed teacher of His Word.

Dear New Creation

There is much I would like to tell you to help you concerning your situations, but I Don't really know how to start. Let's try it this way...

I have had a daughter recently. Friends of ours had a son not too long ago also and everytime we get together we put them into the same playpen. They play and they fight but you can tell that they were made for each other, or so we thought. We planned their marrage...For the next week. You should have seen their wedding, it was beutiful, She crawled up the isle but she kept tripping on her train. He was waiting at the front of the sanctuary for her. He looked very handsome too with his tux on and a drooing a rattle out of his mouth. Then the moment came....Do you Jill take this babie to be your lawfully wedded husband? She then said, "I gaga googo kooo dee... dada?

There is a reason we don't let babies have serious relationships. BECAUSE THEY ARE BABIES!!!

You my dear one in Christ are still (please don't take this the wrong way) a babe in Christ and as Paul says in the epistle that your still strugling with the milk of the Word.

Read what happened with the seed and the sower. Christ is the sower, The Word is the seed, and your life in Christ is the plant that grows from it. The sower goes out to sow some seed. Most of them don't make because fall on good ground. Shortly after they start growing the devil comes to snatch it away thorough different means, Persecution, Lifes Cares, Temptations, or just plain embarassment. Peter told Jesus that he that he can't sacrafice himself. Then Jesus has to tell Peter one of his most trusted deciples,"Satan get thee behind me Peter" or in a better way "Satan I rebuke you for using Peter to try to keep me from going to the cross"

I Hope I'm being clear. It seems to me That Satan wants to rob you of your salvation blessing and he is trying to use the person closest to you to do it. Your Boyfriend seems to me to be a babe in Christ also but he has been captured by the temptations of the enemy and that his growth is stunted if not compleetly arrested. You on the other hand want to grow and that is where the friction is comming from. Grow up first in the Lord and I think you will find that Gods ways aren't our ways, but he doeth all things well. I think if you sacrafice and give God the full chance in your life you will be pleasently supprised how he will bring his blessings to your life. (ps. God has a tendency to exalt the humble and bring down the haughty) don't put a cap on your sky. In God the sky's not the limit, it may only be the beginning of His plans for you.

May I throw 2 more cents into the pot? There is no secret to the amazing things God can do to patch up a life.
Now I don't know you or your past but I think you mentioned something about divorce papers and kids. May I throw a monkey in the wrench? Something that you have not really been told yet. God Hates divorce!!!

The fact is that Divorce stinks. It hurts the country, it hurts the family, It hurts the kids, and in the long run it complicates your life and hurts you, ecpecially if you have kids and then you marry someone else and then have kids again. You made a covenant with God to Love Honor and Cherish your husband. Did God change? Maybe the work God is doing in you is not just for you but he wants to use you as an instrument to save your whole family, your husband included.

You don't know the joys and fullfillment that the Lord can bring to you in a family blessed by God. Now like I said I don't know your situation or your past with your husband but I feel that this could very well be another direction you should consider.

About this other guy, your boyfriend, Is it possible that he likes you because of who you were and would love for you to change back. Keep these things in prayer and search the scriptures about divorce and remmarying.

Last 2 cents. Picture the Crucifixion, Christ in all his love for you and for me, giving his life's blood for our salvation. He then cries out "It is Finished", He shortly thereafter dies, only to be reserected in three days and that the same power that raised Christ from the dead can raise us up in newness of life. ( a nice thing to remember when you face something hard to overcome in your life, he can raise you up in his strength and power.)
It's a harsh scene but the word says that he died once for all people. However you can catch this show over and over again in your local catholic church. Each celibration of the eucarist is an invitation of the spirit of Jesus to come into that wafer and then it is broken and Christ is killed all over again. That is why Christ is still on the cross in every catholic church. They won't let him off. The veil is ripped in two and you have full access to the father through his son and his Sons blood. our access toGod does not depend on a priest to be a go between to the Lord in a confessional. Jesus is God but a priest is only a man with the same passions and failings as we have.

You seem to be searching for God and his spirit. Might there be a better place to find what you seek. Read the first few chapters of acts and seek out a church that believes in the reality of those chapters.

Also you might find a tv station on you cable service, it's called TBN (Trinity broadcasting network) or even CBN (700 club). Give them a call and ask for a good full gospel, spirit filled, church in your area for you to attend and have fellowship in. They should be able to provide you wirh plenty of options.

Keep praying and keep reading the word and keep seeking the Lords will for your life and don't settle for anything less. I think you will be OK just have patience and give God a chance to work.

Seek the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknoledge him andhe will direct your paths. also Be not conformed to this world (or have the same mind and values as the society around you) but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (by Gods spirit and his word through prayer and reading of the bible). That ye may prove (live out) what is Gods perfect will for you. (Romans 12)

It's been a long time folks. I thank you all for your encouragement and prayers.

Miracles are happening in my life daily. We have prayed a LOT about this and God is moving us. He DID give up the pot at a Promise Keepers convention. We have a new Bible study group and I am the new Sunday School teacher at my church. I also feel a draw to minister to women in the exotic dancing industry but I am studying and praying for more wisdom and compassion. The Lord is conveying His love to me in beautiful powerful ways and has touched my heart so. I feel like a flower blossoming.
Boyfriend has been praying for a change of heart too and man, has He answered! His attitude is so different. We pray together and are developing our trust. Our friendship has deepened and so has our love. He is truly desirous of deep fellowship with our Lord and it is so exciting. It is no longer just talk the talk. He's walking. We have been to a Christian couples convention and it was tremendous what it did for our relationship. He is going to prayer counselling of his own volition which speaks volumes to me. It is tremendous to have four hour conversations about God with him. He is comprehending the meaning of self sacrifice. His pride is no longer a ten foot wall.
Jesus is indeed a miracle worker and I am so truly grateful. I wish I could convey to you folks the crazy beautiful things that have happened in the past 3 and a half months.
