Dear Lostgirl
Shalom ahai!
I keep kosher too, and celebrate all of the moedim, and though most would call it a church the place where I pastor is really a Shul. And in reality Pastor is just English for my real title which is Roeh.
But I know Messiah Y'shua you see so many years ago the promised one of Y'srael came but we looked for Moshiach ben Dovid and what we got was Moshiach ben Youseff. We looked for a warrior king but we got the lamb that since Avraraham that was looked for. We know that this Y'shua fufilled all prophecy for Messiah. WE believe that he suffered and died and was burried but B"H he arose from that tomb as the first one who would go before all who would trust in him and rise again too and who would live with him eternally.
We have stumbled and transgressed the Law which Moshe had given to us unable to save ourselves we needed this suffering Messiah and we still do.
Your salvation is not about being less Jewish it is about trusting in this Son of HaShem.
We hold these things to be true
1 WE have sinned and need redemption!
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,
Rom 3:24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Messiah Yeshua;
2 We deserve punishment for our sins but Y'shua has paid the price for them and gives us eternal life
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
3 Y'shua is truly G-ds own son who comes because he loves us
Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
4 That simply believing in him is enough and that by confession of that faith we will be saved
Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Yeshua as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Rom 10:10 for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME."
Now I ask you this little one - are you ready to accept this gift of mercy from the Messiah? Are you ready to call on the name of Y'shua and ask him to save you?
Maybe then I can help maybe others
