I'm new

I feel like I'm a new Christian even though I was brought up in a Christian Church. I fell away from God and Jesus about 15 years ago. But, because of some events that happened, I started praying. I prayed so hard !! Then I started reading. I have never read the Bible, but I am reading it now. I started reading in February and my reading has led to reading about archeology, bible history, and anything related to Bible History. I read A Case for Christ and A Case for Faith. I have just started reading the Left Behind series. In March I was hospitalized because I was close to having a stroke - blood pressure was 221/190, I was also very anemic. etc, etc I still continued to pray.
I think what I want to say is that Prayer does work !! God heard me. Jesus conforted me. Things are not exactly as they should be, but, God answered my prayers as best He could. I will never doubt the power of God again.
I have so much to learn and discover about God and Jesus !!

I've actually HAD 3 strokes & God is still good!!!
He is ONLY good! There is NO bad in Him!
