walking in love! I try to love folks how I love myself. I guess I can't love folks like I love myself. If that's the case, then how am I supposed to love them!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is something that im learning to do aswell and every christian for that matter.
I think its something we must learn to do and to pray to God to show us a deeper love.
So far its been a real battle, some days i can love anyone no matter who or how ferral/bad they seem.
But other days they make me mad and disgusted.
I never grew up with love so its something I have to learn, I have a good teacher and he's very patient with me.
I feel I have a greater love than most non christians have but ive met some christians and they blew me away with the unconditional love they show.
So far I believe its a learning process to love yourself and then to apply love to others,
Its very very hard to love unconditionally but the day we say i can do it is the day we are further from the goal.
Keep pressing in for I think no one can love like Jesus loves us all but we must keep trying and look at Jesus example.
I hope this helps you and its good to know that we all have to start at a crawl then a walk then to a jog,etc
We are not instant acheivers but overcomers.
