I'm getting help

well, i've had deperession for a while now. one my good friends got concerned and called my school (she told me what she was doing firt though) and i was getting counseling then. but now some things have happened, and, its going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.... please pray for me!

Hi, NinadeDios777 I'm new to the forum, and also suffer from depression. I don't understand, how are things getting worse, when your title to the post says: I'm getting help. What do you feel is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better?

Better to get help than to wait until you are 44 like me. I just went to the Dr this monday. I'm on Wellbutrin now and I'm starting to fell OK.

like, my depression, wanting to si is going to get worse before it gets better because i'm ging to have to talk to the counselor all about my issues and all my bad memories in life that lead me TO these issues. and that will make me feel.... yeah. it'll get way worse. i've got my first meeting with a counselor monday. unfortunately, circumstances have sorta changed... i have to get a counselor to ok my return to school... please pray that that works out quickly. my whole support system is at that school.... thanks for ur prayers gusy.

Hi, NinadeDios777, I've been to 4 different DRS. It does make you feel like, oh, no, here we go again. I did'nt like it either, but you'll do fine, after it's over, you'll feel more relaxed. Take Care, Amin.

Hi, NinadeDios777. I'll be praying for you, especially
for monday. God a lot of times does'nt give us peace about a situation, until it arrives. Thinking about what's going to happen, before it gets here, allows our minds to think of everything that might be uncomfortable, causeing us to be anxious. I do it a lot myself, and it isn't much fun. I'm going to be praying that God help you feel more at ease.

I've been in that situation before... I've had people call my school... I know how scary it is.

Why do you approach the situation with that attitude? All of the variables may indicate that the situation may be worse, but don't forget that you have a major element of control. Optimism is essential to recovering from depression. You don't have to be one of these maniacs who chant "The glass is half full", but remember that the hidden blessings are the most wonderful. God loves you and will always be there for you as your comforter, guide, and yes-He is an entertainer. Hope your situation improves.

things have gotten worse. but thats ok, i'm trying to be optimistic. i'm not surew how thats possible when you were raised by extreme pessimists, but thats beside the point. thanks for ur prayers gusy. much appreciated.
