Great post, we have to take stands for the faith - maybe that will convict someone's heart on supporting abortion thru a political candidate.

I truly beleive that sometimes you have no choice btwn candidates depending on the office they're taking and the circumstances - then you vote the lesser of another evil... (meaning sometimes both are pro abortion or will not even handle an abortion issue but have terrible politics)...

In a case like this, there shouldn't be any choice becuz the Pres. has power to veto and sign bills into law to overturn things that others might have worked on to stop abortion or at least partial birth.

I've decided to go all out and whatever comes from my stands in God's truth, so be it. Whether its loss of friends, hatred from others or other persecutions. Eternal life is more sure than this one.

hi brother, I'm conservative too I haven't participated in the political threads at OBOB though - partly because I'm not American so I'm not very informed about the election, and partly because I'm very busy at this time. You're not alone though I don't think the entire forum has gone liberal, maybe it's just that more of the liberals are speaking up.. I don't know. if I get the chance, I'll write something.

I can't hardly take election seasons - it just gets SO ugly and hostile with chronic back and forth retaliations.

In a world that God tells us is evil, I doubt Christians will ever be well recieved.

You can switch between the 2, sis, maybe? If OBOB is upsetting you, hang out here. If CC makes you cringe (hopefully it won't... there's no one denomination in here) you can spend time in OBOB
