  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Pray for me please. I am feeling seriously incensed right now and I know that it's not christlike.

"Be angry, and do not sin." --Ephesians 4:26

Nothing wrong with being angry. Jesus himself got angry sometimes (just ask the money changers that he kicked out of the temple). Just don't lose control of your anger and allow it to cause you to sin.

Keep at prayer - that's the strongest weapon there is in handling yourself.

A collection for when I get riled:

"For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." Jas 1:15
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Eph 4:31
"Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth." Col 3:8

Strive for the prize! -kc
