Been having a LOT of encounters with God and being submissive and attentive to His voice.. had one happen this week recently at chapel at my school...
I was playing lead guitar and everything in the set went great so far during worship, there was a huge response, everything the team had been praying for was coming true today. Suddenly, between the last and second to last song as we transitioned, I felt a HUGE pull from the Spirit to pray for some people that were in the corner of my eye, trouble is, I was on guitar, and they were nowhere near the stage at all. The song started and I was playing the game with God saying "really God? Are you suurree??". I then turned off my guitar, took it off, jumped off the stage and went and prayed for them during worship, then God kept sticking people into my eyesight/head to pray for, so all during the last song I laid hands on people and prayed for them the whole time, it was amazing. There was one person I didn't get to, after the speaker spoke, our piano player went up and played and sang Rooftops as people came to the front. The person I needed to pray for was one of the first people up to the front of the stage. Then I prayed with him and people started giving testimonies of what was happening. Truly Amazing!
I'm very excited to see what God will do this sunday, for the past couple months I have been desiring the spiritual gifts and believe the Spirit will give!
