Firstly let me beging by saying, it has been a true desire of mine to become a wife from a very young age. When I was about 19, I started to become content with being okay that marriage may have no be a choice or option for me because I felt my life was being directed in a different way.... boy, was I wrong!!
I met him a year ago in school. We are taking the same classes, majoring in the same thing, and similiar in so many ways. Through this past year, he has shown me a reflection of Christ in his heart, taught me patience, humility, and how to love like Jesus does. He is by far, the most amazing man I have ever met.
Our first date was at the planetarium last February. It was an all day free event, so we decided to go. I saw that on February 16,2013 there was also another all day free event so I asked him to go (little did I know, he already knew there was one). We drive up there (him remaining his calm self) and when we get there he says "I hope they allow us to sit down, I'm a little tired" so we walk in and the staff was preparing for the show. I hear him say "Is it okay if we sit inside the planetarium and watch you set up?" a woman told us it was fine if we did, so we walked in. All of a sudden, the lights all shut off and about 50 different stars come up in the sky. 2 minutes later, the most beautiful song comes on (that I love) and in the sky it says "Will you marry me?".... I froze.... and said yes
