I'm confused about Heaven: help!

Well, in many cases, there are several interpretations that differ in specifics but amount to generally the same when it comes to conveying a message about the future. Is New to be taken this way, for example...or that other way? It is not easy to say but we know that either one says there will be a huge renewal. That's important, right?

The problem comes in when we mortals argue over which details are right, even though the big picture is about the same either way and, what is more, most of us admit that we are not capable of comprehending everything about God at this time anyway.

hello everyone, I just became a born again Christian on may 7th. It was the best day of my life. I was reading revelations and I think my idea of Heaven was wrong please help.


From my understanding if we die before the second coming we go to Heaven for a little bit then get a new body, after jesus's second coming we come down to new earth with him. So we won't be in Heaven forever? Also it said there won't be marriage in Heaven and we wouldn't have reproductive organs (am I misunderstanding?)

Are we going to have free will in Heaven? I feel uncomfortable thinking I gave up my free will but at the same time I hate sin and I love Jesus and God so my k just trying to understand.

Will we all be connectedness to god like how Jesus was connected to god? Will earth and heaven be one? Are we going to be in a new garden of eden and not Heaven?

Why does god have to make a new Heaven?

Ressurection into a new body is what is promised. Read about Jesus' appearances after He was risen from the dead and you might get the idea.

I believe you will find heaven is what happens to us when we repent of our sin. Read Matthew 4:17.

Hmm I'm not it's sure what you mean, but when I repented from my heart and had faith in Jesus, I got saved. With salvation comes heaven. But does that mean you think we're in heaven now if we repent?

I believe we are in heaven now if we repent of our sin.
